Safety tips
Most people on AYITISKILL are serious. Here are a few good habits to protect yourself and your money.
Before you start
- Look at the portfolio, the reviews and the “Verified” badge.
- Ask your questions about the work before you agree.
- Write the price, the date and what will be delivered in the project.
Money
- AYITISKILL doesn’t handle payments right now: we will never ask you to send us money.
- Don’t send everything upfront to someone you don’t know. Pay in steps: a small part to start, the rest on delivery.
- Keep proof of every payment (MonCash receipt, screenshot).
Codes and passwords
- Never give anyone your password, verification codes or MonCash PIN, even if they say they’re from the AYITISKILL team.
- Turn on 2-step verification in Settings.
- If you get a “new sign-in” alert you don’t recognize, change your password right away.
Stay on the platform
- Talk in AYITISKILL messages: if there’s a problem, the team can see what was said.
- Be careful with anyone rushing you to another app or to pay quickly.
- Work, payments and agreements made outside AYITISKILL aren’t covered: the team can’t help and you won’t be able to leave a review.
Warning signs
- Someone asks you for money so you can apply for a job.
- A price too good to be true, or a “client” who wants to pay you more than you asked.
- Strange links to “verify your account”, or someone asking for your ID in a message.
If something goes wrong
- Tap “Report” on the profile, job or conversation.
- In a project, tap “Ask the team for help”.
- If it’s a crime (theft, threats), contact the police too.
