Community rules

AYITISKILL connects Haitian digital talent with clients. So everyone feels safe, here are the rules everyone follows.

1. Stay professional

  • Speak with respect. Swearing, insults and hurtful language are not allowed in messages, profiles, jobs or applications.
  • The site blocks offensive words automatically. After several attempts, sending messages is paused for 24 hours.

2. Give real information

  • Fake profiles and pretending to be someone else are not allowed.
  • Only put work you have the right to show in your portfolio.
  • Posted jobs must be real, with accurate information about the budget and type of work.

3. No scams

  • Nobody may ask for money to apply for a job.
  • Never ask for or share passwords, verification codes or PINs.
  • Don't send money before you clearly agree on the work. Check the person first.
  • After several wrong passwords, an account is locked for a while to protect it from people trying to guess the password.

4. Forbidden content

  • Illegal content, adult content, hate speech, threats and harassment are not allowed.
  • Spam and advertising unrelated to work on the platform are not allowed either.

5. AYITISKILL's role

  • For now, AYITISKILL connects clients and talent. The site does not handle payments between clients and talent, does not guarantee payments and does not guarantee the quality of work. AYITISKILL only sells its own services, such as the “Featured” option.
  • Agreements on price, dates and delivery are between the client and the talent.
  • AYITISKILL is not responsible for any work, payment, agreement or dispute made outside the platform, for example on WhatsApp, in cash or by direct transfer without a project on the site.
  • So the team can help if something goes wrong, make the agreement in a project on AYITISKILL and keep the conversation in the site’s messages.
  • Reviews: only a client with a project on AYITISKILL with the talent, delivered or completed, can leave a review. Work done outside the platform can’t be reviewed on the site.

6. Reports and penalties

  • Every profile, job and conversation has a report button. Reports are private.
  • The AYITISKILL team may hide a profile, remove a job or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Every action is recorded.

7. Age and identity

  • You must be at least 18 to use AYITISKILL. Everyone gives their date of birth, and accounts under 18 are blocked.
  • You can send a photo of your ID to get the "Verified" badge. The team may ask for a check if there's doubt about someone's age or identity.

8. One account per person

  • Each person may have only one account. The same device, phone number or ID document can't be used for several accounts.
  • To prevent fraud, the site remembers (in scrambled form) the devices and networks used. Accounts created for fraud are suspended, and the person can't create another one.
